This city is just made for walking and active tourist vacations.

1. If you want evening walks, noisy discos, a variety of bars and restaurants, you should go to Playa del Carmen.
2. The second feature of this resort is the proximity to the sea, almost all accommodation here is excellent, well priced and very close to the sea.
3. The third feature, the sea is bad and dirty, meaning it’s definitely not about the sea((.

Playa del Carmen was memorable for me with pleasant evenings and walks, a bustling city center with a performance, big catamarans that go to the neighboring island, they say there are the best beaches there. Also, here we found the most delicious restaurants, with beautiful views, night bars with dancing girls.

In this city all parking lots are paid, so if you come here by car, be sure to pay for parking, non-payment – blocking the car.

Playa del Carmen is a city of most new buildings and rather densely built up neighborhoods, they are not terrible, and even very pretty, although not without Mexican flavor, who knows, he will understand.

Where to buy food in Playa del Carmen

There are plenty of small supermarkets like 7eleven and other brands in town, but it’s definitely not about the food. If you want more choice, right down to ready meals, go to the big supermarket, which is right in the neighborhood of most of the tourist apartments.

There are many tables and stalls outside selling tours and trips to national parks and cenotes. Talk to different ones, the price may vary, though not much. But you can also get some more bonuses like free shuttle service, etc.

We didn’t find any excursions or similar offer in Tulum, it’s definitely not there, by the way it wasn’t in Cancun either, although we didn’t explore much there, unlike Tulum and Playa del Carmen.
